# Developer quickstart

> Authenticate, find an agent, and retrieve its runs over HTTPS.

## Before you begin

Sign in with Labs Auth once to initialize your workspace, then create and test an agent. Create a key for your user through the Labs platform and store it on your server as `LABS_AUTH_API_KEY`. Set `VOAI_ORGANIZATION_ID` to the integer ID of a workspace you belong to. Ask your workspace administrator for that ID if needed. See [authentication](/api-reference/authentication).

## List agents

Each entry includes an integer `id` and, where available, `workflow_uuid`. Save the integer ID for agent management and run lookup. The stable UUID identifies the agent across versions; see [agent identifiers](/configurations/agent-uuid).

## Retrieve recent runs

Set `WORKFLOW_ID` to the returned integer ID:

Use a returned run's `id` as `RUN_ID`:

Inspect `state`, `is_completed`, and the available transcript, recording, and gathered context. Artifact URLs can be absent until processing finishes.
